Upon first hearing this CD, I thought that the only way one could enjoy listening to these songs was if they were drunk. So, what the hell's wrong with that?

Anyway, Dr. Dirty is John Valby, a songwriter whose X-rated parodies of songs are energetic, timely, and... well, dirty. The songs are recorded live, and Valby does his own piano work. Few topics are off-limits for Dr. Dirty: sex with pets, masturbation, sex with inflatable dolls, sex toys, anal sex, sex with relatives, Al Gore, sex with the elderly, Madonna, sex, Ally McBeal, sex, sex, sex, and whatever else he can think of. I think you get the idea.

Sometimes Valby goes over the line of good taste and will make you squirm from time to time, but there's not a whole lot you can find wrong with the CD except that it might just be a little too short. Most of the songs are cute enough to sing along with them, in a sort of "Batmobile lost a wheel and Joker got away" style. Most of the melodies are borrowed from classic standards, Disney movies, and other recognizable pop/rock tunes, so they're easy to follow along. You can hear album excerpts and purchase the CD on laugh.com for $18.98.
